The Price of Getting Up

Artist Steve Powers (ESPO) has come under severe police scrutiny as a result of his book about the underground graffiti scene, The Art of Getting Over. While he prepares his art to participate in a group show at New York City’s Deitch Galleries, Steve finds himself facing numerous hurdles as the police target the publicized art show and arrest two of the participating artists in an effort to shut down the show and intimidate him.
