ABOUT SWERVE FESTIVAL
Swerve Festival is a new annual festival dedicated to celebrating West Coast creative culture – a community inspired by art, film, music and action sports. The West Coast is the birthplace of many cultural movements that have had an incredible impact on the world. The three-day celebration will be held in Los Angeles to bring together this dynamic group of innovators and thinkers and to spotlight some of the most exciting work to come out of these creative disciplines.

The festival is directed by Jonathan Wells of Flux. He is founder and former Festival Director of the acclaimed international film festival RESFEST.

Through a dynamic series of activities including screenings, workshops, live music performances, parties and interactive entertainment, Swerve Festival’s mission is to showcase breaking new talent and visionary filmmakers who revolutionize the visual language of our times.

Swerve Festival celebrates the convergence of innovative film, music, art, action sports, fashion and the West Coast lifestyle, and is the first event to do so.

Utilizing multiple experiential media platforms, the festival will be a bold new experience playing out through online, print, on-air, on-site performance (live music and art) and screenings. The festival is an authentic expression of the action sports and youth lifestyles that have inspired an international cultural movement and the creative ethos born out of it.
